TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Castroville Self Storage (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online services, and related communications (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. USE OF SERVICES

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes.

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Interfere with website functionality or security
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) without permission


We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access at any time.


2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services or rent a storage unit.


3. RESERVATIONS, PRICING & AVAILABILITY

Important

  • A reservation does not create a lease agreement
  • A binding rental agreement is only formed upon full execution as described below


Reservation and Rental Agreement Execution

A reservation, online rental, or signed agreement does not constitute a fully executed or legally binding rental agreement. All such transactions are conditional and subject to verification and approval prior to occupancy.

A Rental Agreement becomes binding only after completion of all of the following:

  • Verification of identity using valid government-issued identification
  • Verification of address and contact information
  • Full payment of all required charges
  • Assignment of a storage unit
  • Issuance of access credentials, including gate code
  • Delivery of possession of the unit


Until these conditions are satisfied, we may deny or cancel any reservation or rental request. No tenancy or right of occupancy is created until full execution.


Move-In Requirement

Occupancy is not permitted until completion of the move-in process, including identity verification and issuance of access credentials.


Pricing & Promotions

  • Prices and promotions may change at any time
  • Promotions may exclude fees and taxes
  • Promotions may be limited to certain units or customers


We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies at any time, including after a reservation has been submitted.


Reservations

  • A reservation may temporarily hold a price
  • A reservation does not guarantee unit availability


Information on the website is for general purposes only and is not a guarantee of unit specifications or availability.


4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & SECURITY

You must provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.


5. COMMUNICATIONS CONSENT (SMS, CALLS, EMAIL)

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications, including calls and text messages (including automated communications). Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by texting STOP or using unsubscribe options.


6. FACILITY ACCESS & TECHNOLOGY

Access may be provided via gates, codes, or digital tools. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for outages, system failures, or third-party disruptions.


7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website is owned by Castroville Self Storage and may not be used without permission.


8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We may use third-party providers. These providers operate independently and we are not responsible for their performance.


9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind.


10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of data or business. California residents waive Civil Code §1542.


11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Castroville Self Storage from claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.


12. DISPUTE RESOLUTION (CALIFORNIA)

Disputes must first be addressed informally. Small claims are permitted. Arbitration may be used for unresolved disputes.


13. GOVERNING LAW & VENUE

These Terms are governed by California law. Venue is Monterey County, California.


14. MODIFICATIONS

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.


15. TERMINATION

We may terminate access to the Services at any time.


16. MISCELLANEOUS

If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
